Sound. The one thing in life that without it, we cannot enjoy listening to our favourite things nor enjoy the company of loved ones. People afflicted with hearing loss experiences sounds muffled and distorted. Communication is hard. Managed solely by audiologists, we at Gnosis Professional Hearing Services (Gnosis) provide the total solution to all audiological problems.
Total Audiological Solution Gnosis is dedicated to provide excellent and comprehensive hearing test to the hearing impaired, high-risk group and even people with normal hearing. But whichever group you belong to, it is strongly encouraged to establish your base-line audiogram.
The audiogram will determine the nature and degree of the hearing defect; important for proper diagnosis. From then on, a personalised service will be planned to have you hear better in no time.
Counselling, hearing instrument prescription and fitting and a customised follow-up program are just some of the vast services provided to help you cope and understand your hearing loss. We are ready and well prepared to help in whatever way possible.
Hearing aid prescription All testing and hearing aid fitting is done by qualified audiologists for all ages, including children. If your case is rare and uncertain, it will be presented to our team of audiologists for management and solution. Rest assured that all consultation is private and confidential. We only prescribe hearing aids that suit your individual hearing need. A customised post-fitting follow-up program ensures that you get the most out of your hearing aid.
Ready to lend our ears Contact us if you have any queries, doubts or experiences to share. We understand your needs and frustrations. The Role of an Audiologist An audiologist is not to be confused with an ENT specialist. An ENT Specialist is trained for the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose and throat. Audiologists are university-trained professionals specialising in the assessment, prevention and non-medical management of hearing impairment and associated disorders of communication. In short, an ENT specialist treats ear, nose and throat diseases while an Audiologist treats hearing loss and communication disorders. |
